Effective September 16, 2026
Cookies and personalization, without surprises.
This Notice explains how Faithful Hands uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies on faithfulhandscorp.org. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Local storage keeps limited data in the browser for a particular site. Similar technologies may remember a session, protect a form, retain preferences, or help measure website performance.
2. Technologies we use
Strictly necessary
These support core functions such as secure sessions, authentication, load balancing, fraud prevention, form nonces, accessibility, and consent records. The website may not operate correctly without them.
Preference and personalization
First-party storage may remember preferred language, broad visitor region, care country, visitor role, and whether the preference panel has been completed. These values are intended to tailor navigation and content; they are not intended to store diagnoses, medical records, or payment information.
Analytics
If analytics is enabled, limited device and usage data may help us understand aggregate traffic, errors, and page performance. We do not permit analytics to use information entered into care, referral, application, or secure portal forms for behavioral advertising. Optional analytics should not load before any legally required consent.
Embedded and third-party content
Maps, videos, fonts, security services, or other embedded resources may receive technical data such as IP address and browser information when loaded. Their cookies and data practices are governed by their own notices. We limit embeds and review providers before enabling them.
3. Current preference data
The website may store a first-party preference record containing language, care country, broad visitor country or region, and visitor role. It may also store a consent choice or interface state. Exact cookie names and durations can change when security, hosting, or WordPress components are updated; the live browser storage and consent controls are the authoritative current inventory.
4. Your choices
You can use the site’s preference or cookie controls, when displayed, to accept or decline optional technologies. You may also block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking necessary storage can prevent login, security, forms, and saved preferences from working. Clearing storage resets remembered choices.
5. Global Privacy Control and browser signals
Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, we will treat supported browser signals accordingly. Because strictly necessary technologies do not involve a sale or targeted-advertising choice, they may remain active.
6. Sensitive information
Do not place medical records, diagnoses, Social Security or national identification numbers, banking details, or passwords into public forms. Authenticated portal pages must not include advertising trackers that are not authorized for the information handled there.
7. Retention
Session technologies generally expire when the session ends. Preference and consent records may remain until their configured expiration or until you clear them. Security logs may be retained for a reasonable period to investigate abuse and protect the service.
8. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice when website functionality or providers change. The effective date above identifies the latest published version. Material changes to optional tracking practices will be reflected in the consent experience where required.
9. Contact
For questions about cookies or privacy choices, email care@faithfulhandscorp.org or call (800) 749-5149.
