Effective September 16, 2026
Your privacy, explained clearly.
This Privacy Policy explains how Faithful Hands Corp. (“Faithful Hands,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit faithfulhandscorp.org, contact our team, apply for a caregiver opportunity, submit a professional referral, express interest in a care home, or use a linked Faithful Hands portal.
Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, government identification numbers, financial account details, or other sensitive clinical information through a public website form.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the Faithful Hands public website and the public forms identified above. A secure client, employee, or operations portal may display an additional notice when its data practices differ. This Policy does not govern unaffiliated websites linked from our pages.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on the form or service you use, we may collect your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, city or general care location, preferred contact method, relationship to the person seeking support, scheduling preferences, a brief description of requested non-clinical support, referral context, caregiver work history, qualifications, availability, language skills, declarations, consent records, and documents you intentionally upload through an authorized secure process.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and website systems may record IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, approximate region, error logs, and security events. We may also store language, broad visitor region, care country, role, and cookie choices so the website can present a more relevant experience.
Information about another person
If you provide information about a family member, client, employee, applicant, or other person, you represent that you are authorized to do so and will share only what is reasonably necessary for the requested purpose.
3. How we use information
- Respond to enquiries, referrals, applications, and requests for care-home information.
- Assess service availability, caregiver applications, and potential professional relationships.
- Arrange consultations and communicate requested updates.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and portals.
- Remember language, region, accessibility, and care-journey preferences.
- Maintain records, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations.
- Send service-related messages and, where permitted, communications you requested or consented to receive.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use information submitted through care, referral, or employment forms for third-party behavioral advertising.
4. When we disclose information
We may disclose information to authorized Faithful Hands personnel and service providers that support hosting, secure storage, communications, document processing, cybersecurity, professional advice, and website operations. Providers receive only information reasonably needed for their role and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.
5. Health information and public forms
The public website is designed for introductory and non-clinical information. It is not an emergency service or a substitute for professional medical advice. Whether particular information is subject to HIPAA depends on the role in which Faithful Hands receives or maintains it and the applicable law. When protected health information is handled in a regulated context, separate legal, contractual, and security requirements may apply. A website cookie banner is not an authorization to disclose protected health information.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use necessary first-party storage for security, session continuity, form protection, and saved preferences. Optional analytics or embedded services are used only when enabled and are described in our Cookie and Personalization Notice. Browser controls may delete or block cookies, although some features may then work differently.
7. Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including responding to a request, administering an application or relationship, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal, insurance, employment, tax, or regulatory requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely archive it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls, authentication, protected storage, logging, and secure transmission where supported. No internet system is completely secure. Please use the designated secure portal when asked and notify us promptly if you believe information has been accessed improperly.
9. Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you provided, withdraw a consent where applicable, or opt out of non-essential communications. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. To change website preferences, use the language and region controls or clear browser storage.
10. Children
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through public forms. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult should contact us regarding services involving a minor.
11. International visitors
Faithful Hands is based in the United States. If you access the website from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards. Local privacy rights may vary; we will consider verified requests under applicable law.
12. Third-party links and services
Links, maps, communication tools, and embedded resources may be operated by third parties with their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information. A link does not imply that Faithful Hands controls the third party.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or directly when appropriate.
14. Contact us
For privacy questions or requests, contact care@faithfulhandscorp.org or call (800) 749-5149. Please do not include sensitive medical or identity information in an ordinary email.
